Whenever and wherever hobbies are raised, one of the main
answer which becomes an integral part of the answer is Reading. But where are
we? Is it true that there has been so much of reading in the society?
This has prompted me to write such a blog. What I have seen
is that people tend to read. But we lose the cream and the essence of reading. Reading is just not a
time pass. It’s gaining an extra knowledge other than what we hear. The facts
and figures depict something or the other. So now we should look into whether
what we read we do take it in the real sense. For that understanding I believe introspection
is a necessity.
Now what are we up to in reading? Reading is nothing but a
complex cognitive process of decoding symbols
in order to construct or derive meaning,
It is a means of language acquisition, of communication,
and of sharing information and ideas.
Reading
is primarily involved in creativity. The books you read provide a new world of
imagination. A creative thought where you can build anything which comes in
your mind. You can travel round the world. You have your own freedom. You have
your own thoughts and ideas. Ideological thoughts tend to change while reading.
Critics play an important role in providing what is good and bad. The ability
to interpret happens when you read.
So when we look at reading we tend to change lives. But some
are imaginary which needs to be taken in that way alone. Some tend to be
historical which we need to accept as its history. Some are informative and
others make you a free man.
The importance of reading happens when there are good
scripts which are written by efficient and effective writers. Actually they are
the one who drives you to reading.
Off late many writers fail to reach the reading community
and this has been one of the reasons why reading has lost its cult. Now it has
been time for us to stay alive in this modern world with Internet. Internet now
plays an important role in promoting reading skill. Blogs and sites like Wikipedia
have enhanced reading to a certain extent. With everything on your finger tips
now its time for a revolutionary change in reading and thereby promoting Reading.
